Terms of service
Last updated · August 10, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and n4n ("we", "us") covering your use of n4n Social — the site at n4n.social and the console at app.n4n.social. They sit alongside the general n4n terms, which govern your n4n account. By signing in you accept both.
1. The service
n4n Social composes, schedules and publishes posts to social platforms you have linked. It is a client of those platforms, not a part of them: the post is delivered through n4n Connect to the platform's own API, or by driving a browser profile you are signed into. We do not control the platforms, and they may change, restrict or withdraw access at any time.
2. Your accounts on other platforms
- You must have the right to post to every account you link, whether it is yours or one you are authorised to operate.
- Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform's own terms. Posting through us does not change what those terms permit, and breaking them is your responsibility.
- You can unlink an account at any time, here or in n4n Connect. Unlinking stops future posts; it does not remove posts already published.
3. What we publish, and what we will not
We publish what you compose, to the accounts you select, at the time you choose. Where a platform will refuse a post, we tell you when you compose it rather than at send time.
If a send is interrupted and we cannot establish whether the post already went out, we will not send it again. It is held for you to decide. This is deliberate: a duplicate public post cannot be undone, and we would rather leave the decision with you than make it wrongly.
4. Scheduling and timing
Scheduled posts are sent as close to the requested time as the platform and queue allow, not to the second. A post that cannot be sent within 24 hours of its scheduled time is marked failed rather than published late, since a post that goes out a day late is rarely the post you meant to send.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use n4n Social to:
- post content that is illegal where you or its audience are located;
- run spam, engagement farms, coordinated inauthentic behaviour, or evade a platform's rate limits, bans or automation rules;
- post on behalf of accounts you do not control or are not authorised to operate;
- probe, overload or disrupt the service, or attempt to reach another customer's workspace.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
6. Availability
The service is provided as is, without an uptime guarantee. Platforms go down, change their APIs, rate-limit us, and revoke access without notice; a post failing for those reasons is not a breach of these terms.
7. Your content
You keep all rights to what you compose and publish. You grant us only the permission needed to store it and to transmit it to the platforms you selected. You are responsible for the content of your posts.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of data, or for the consequences of a post that was published, delayed, or not published. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is capped at the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Termination
You can stop using the service and unlink your accounts at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, for legal reasons, or with 30 days' notice for any reason. Sections 7, 8 and 10 survive termination.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or in the console. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
